Topical Creams and Gels
- Preparation:
- Clean your skin by showering before application.
- Application Site:
- Apply on moderately fatty areas like the inside of the upper arms or thighs. Avoid overly fatty or thin skin areas.
- Regularly rotate the application sites.
- Application Process:
- Apply the cream or gel over an area the size of a small plate.
- Rub into the skin thoroughly for at least one minute.

- Vaginal Suppositories/Capsules:
- Insert the suppository or capsule deep into the vagina using a finger or an applicator.
- Best Practices:
- Position: Lie on your back with knees bent or stand with knees slightly bent.
- Timing: Apply at bedtime to prevent leakage and ensure effectiveness.
- After Application:
- Wash your hands immediately to keep medication from contacting other areas or people.

- Placement: Place the lozenge either between your cheek and gum or under your tongue.
